Watercolor fun with this video:

• mask off Neenah 90 lb. White Card Stock with scotch tape!
• brush lightly Dr. Martin's Norway Blue Watercolor Ink onto the card stock
• add Dr. Martin's Ultra Blue Watercolor Ink onto the top 3/4 of the card stock
• stamp the images from On the House Top Clear Stamp Set on another sheet
• Copic Markers used are YR14, Y38, B16, YR09, R59, E13, C5, YR01, W2, E15, E37, YR14, and YR27
• cut out the stamped images
• outline the stamped images with a Black Jumbo marker
• cut the watercolor card stock down using Lawn Fawn stitch rectangle dies
• glue the images to the dried watercolor background
• apply to red card stock with the ATG gun
• apply to a white blank card
• glue and tie gold stretchy string from Reindeer to Sleigh
• add shimmer to the snow with Clear Wink of Stella
• add golden liquid pearls to the sleigh
• add snow in the sky with Sigmo White Pigment Pen
• add shiny accents!

For this new video, a Snow Angel Shaker Card!

• stamp with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink the images and sentiment (Snow Angel 4x6 Clear Stamp Set) using Neenah 90 lb. White Card Stock that is cut down to 4" by 5.25" in size
• the Copic Colors are shown when they are used in the video  
• the list of colors is: YR00, YR09, R59, W2, YR24, YR21, YR27, C3, BG10, BG13, R27, E11, E15, C5, and Y17
• cut red card stock to 4" by 5.25 and cut a border leaving 3/8" all around
• add Course Clear Glitter to a clear bag (could be a ziplock bag)
• adhere the bag with glitter to the red border with ATG gun
• adhere the panel with the stamped images on the other side
• glue and tape the opening of the bag to the backside
• tape to the card base

• download the Gerda Steiner Designs Cold Hedgehog Digital Stamp
• print out the Hedgehog on your printer using Neenah White Card Stock 8.5" x 11" 90 lb.   This paper is compatible with Laser and Inkjet.
• color with the Hedgehog with Copic Markers
• cut and score sheet

• download the Spider Web for Halloween Digital Stamp
• print out the Spider Web on your printer using Neenah White Card Stock 8.5" x 11" 90 lb.   This paper is compatible with Laser and Inkjet.
• cut out and color with three shade of purple Copic Markers the Spider from the Bats Halloween 4x6 Clear Stamp Set
• use foam tape to adhere the spider to the web.
• mount the panel to a black card stock before adhering it to a card base
• add some accent dots using Ranger Liquid Pearls

Happy Birthday Human!

Hello and Thank you so much for stopping by for our Blog Hop to celebrate the two new Stamp Sets here at gsd-stamps.com

I really had planned to make a Video for this Blog Hop, but I had sooooo many issues all week long that I ran out of time. But I swear - at some point I'll bug you with one. (wink, wink)

I created this little card Happy Birthday Human Card by creating the blue background with some Distress Inks  on some Neenah White Cardstock. After that I decided to create the ground the aliens stand out simply by tearing off a piece of Kraftstock. If you take a close look you can see that it's not nicely cut or die cut. I really liked this look as it's suppose to represent the ground of an unknown planet, hehe.  So I glued this Kraft Stock paper on the background before I die cut the whole thing with a stitched rectangle die. 

I stamped the aliens and banner to colored them with Copic Markers before I fussy cut them. Going along the edges with a Tombow Marker helped to make the edges look nicer. 

To stamp the Happy Birthday Human sentiment into the banner, I had to bend it slightly, which is an easy thing to do when you work with clear stamps. 

In order to create the look that those silly aliens are holding the banner, I cut them slightly in their little alien hands, (oh my! that sounds so cruel!) and this way I could tug the little banner in. 

I was using some fun foam to attach all the pieces on the card and I also used a C5 Copic Marker to create some shadows underneath the banner and the aliens.  Now the card was almost done - I was only using the white Signo Pen to add some white dots for the stars and some tiny black dots to represents the sand in the ground.
