Thank you for a lovely month of things to look forward. <3 My love for crafting started when I was about 8 when my mom and her best friend would have Tuesday craft nights. I’d be RIGHT In the middle of it all. Fast Forward to my late 20’s, I found a love for scrapbooking and card making. I’ve been making cards for 20 years. This is a craft I’ve passed on to my 7 year old daughter. Watch out! :)

I have been crafting my whole life but card making only for about 6 years.
Such a sweet coffee mug and perfect for my morning latte! I began as a scrapbooker over 20 years ago. I have been making cards for almost that long and enjoy the creative outlet.

I’ve been card making for just over 3 years but I’ve been stamping (before I knew it was a “thing”) for almost 40 years. Back in the day, we wrote letters and I always decorated my envelopes by stamping scenes on them.
I’ve been card making since 2012 after discovering card making videos on YouTube! It was love at first sight! I did scrapbooking for about 5ish years before discovering card making and unfortunately haven’t gone back.

I been doing all kinds of papercrafting for over 25 years. I started like most, scrapbooking and within a month or so decided I wanted to card make for my friends and family. As my kids were growing up it was more sporadic due to time restraints but now being older and disabled , I do it full time and enjoy every minute of it. :) Thank you for the wonderful Advent Calendar and giveaways! I made my first card at a state fair booth back in 2000 and I haven’t stopped since!
Gimme a minute, this involves some math, lol. A friend of my Mom’s showed me how to dry emboss and I was hooked. 30 years ago. 😳😊

Thank you for this fun advent calendar! I’ve been a crafter my whole life, including scrapbooking and card making. When I was younger (many decades ago), we used basic supplies and recycled what we had on hand: we didn’t have access to the wonderful assortment of supplies we have now. “Discovering” these new supplies has rekindled my interest in card making and paper crafts over the past couple years.
I started in 2005 and have been creating, and selling ever since.
I started with scrapbooking in 2003 and was quickly drawn into card making.
It’s been about four years now.
I started making cards since only 1 year now!
I’ve been making cards and scrapbooking for, maybe six or seven years. I’ve learned a lot and there is a definite difference between my first cards to those I make now 😆! I discovered your stamps a few years ago and now incorporate them into my projects! Thanks for your creativity!!

I’ve been making cards for 15yrs…WOW! That’s so hard to believe! I had to think about this answer for a minute! I enjoy being creative so much, and giving pieces of art away with my cards! Some cards I’ve created I can’t let go because I surprised myself and love them so much! I like to dabble in all things crafty & creative!
I have been making cards for the last 2 years, and I am hooked on it.
I think it’s about 5 years but once I had a 1 year break, and the other time it was 1.5 year, so it’s difficult to count :)
I was a scrapbooker and started dabbling with cardmaking too somewhere around 2005, but really jumped into it “big time” in 2010.

I was originally a scrapbooker, a hobby I started after attending a Creative Memories party as a way to meet new neighbors after we moved in the late ‘90s. As my children grew, and it got harder to get pictures to scrap, I slowly moved over to card making – probably around 2010. I’m an engineer by trade, and enjoy the creative outlet.
I have a ‘thing’ for snowman – my father in law gets me one every year for Christmas and I enjoy taking them all out and decorating the house every year – which is actually our plan for later today! Thanks for the chance to win!

I started card making in 2014. It was actually my husband’s fault. We had just moved to the US and my husband took me to a Michaels because he was there with a colleague and thought I might like the store, too. I only bought a paper pad that day. Then I went home and started to search the internet for what I could do with it. A few days later I went back to Michaels and bought a bunch of other things and my card making journey started.

Your digital advent calendar is so fun! I started making cards occasionally in 2012. I really got into using stamps & dies in 2018 and have been making a lot more cards since then. :)
I have started making cards when I moved to the UK in 2016. It helps me to cope with my Meniere’s disease and is a great way to de-stress
I started crafting in 2018 just before everything shot down, this has kept me sane these few years of Covid19, since I only go out when necessary, I have some medical problems to look for yet another one.
I started making cards after my mom passed in 2005, it helped me keep my mind busy and I enjoyed the process of making beautiful things
Good morning Gerda. Have a wonderful 2nd advent Sunday! I started cardmaking in 2017 to surprise my fiance with a selfmade card for his birthday. It quickly turned out that this is a great hobby for me and I bought a big shot, a paper cutter and a huge amount of stamps. They also helped me preparing invitations, giveaways and thank-you cards for our wedding in 2018. Unfortunately, my time for paper crafting is limited now as my daughter was born in Oct 2019 and I started sewing as well last year. A lot more planning is necessary now so I had all Christmas cards ready in August 😅 sicher ist sicher 😉 liebe Grüße aus Ahlen, Franzi
