Using a Stencil to Draw Attention to an Image

Hello crafty friends! It's Jess from JessCrafts.com. Today I am sharing a card made with the Playful Kittens stamp set. I wanted to create a clean and simple card that allowed a single image to shine. To find out more about how I made this card check out the video below.


This card design will work even if the stencil does not have a clear center because the flat background will take less attention away from the image than other background techniques or layers of paper. Which Gerda Steiner image and stencil from your stash would you pair up for a clean and simple card?
