Enjoy the Summer - Pool Piggies Card by InsideoutJeans

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Pool Piggies. I know it's not quite summer yet, but I really just wanted to use this fun set. I cannot wait until we can go outside and really soak up the sun.

I stamped out all the images from the Pool Piggies stamp set and colored them up using alcohol markers. I fussy cut them out so they would be ready for whatever card I wanted to create.

Lately, I've been really into slimline cards and I used a slimline die to cut the card base and then also the windows. The three windows was PERFECT for this card because I had three little piggies to fill up the windows.

I used distress oxide inks to blend up a background and added some water splatter. I stamped the sentiment "Enjoy the Summer" at the very bottom. To add a little bit more to the card base, I just added black lines to give it a bit of interest.

A very simple but fun card. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!

 Hey friends...

I've got some inspiration to share today using the gorgeous Gerda Steiner designs stamp set called Happy bee-day....

It's such a sweet set, one I've used many times hehe!!

To create this card I started with a white cardstock base which I masked off an oval shape and inked up using Distress oxide ink Prize ribbon. I then removed the mask and stamped a bunch of the flower images!
