Holiday Card with Non-Traditional Colors!

Hello again crafty friends! It’s Maureen Hayes back guest designing for wonderful Gerda Steiner Stamps. They sent me the as yet unreleased set called “Seasons Tweetings” to play with. I fell head over heels for the birdie with the huge glasses and HAD to include him in my card.

I stamped all my images in Memento Tudexo Black ink because I knew I wanted to use my Copic markers to color them. I used a circle die to cut out center of the card and chose some fun patterned paper to put over the card base.

This is really a fun set to work with. I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors both in my coloring and with my choice of patterned paper.

I also used signo gel pens in white and gold and Glossy Accents on the glasses and Christmas bulbs.
