Ho Ho Ho & Beary Merry Christmas by Hanh!

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be on the Gerda Steiner Designs blog today to share a couple of
Christmas cards that I made featuring the absolutely adorable new Beary Merry Christmas set. This super
cute set is part of the upcoming Christmas Release, arriving on October 1 st . I kept both card designs fairly
clean and simple to give all of the attention to these sweet images!
HO HO HO Merry Christmas! My first card is a simple slimline card using the bear in the wreath image as
the O in the HO HO HO.
First, I stamped the image three times onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with
Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel
pen. Next, I used a 2.25” circle die to diecut each of the images out.

I used the Impact Alphabet Die-namics to diecut the letter H nine times out of red cardstock. I layered and
adhered 3 letters with liquid adhesive to create three Hs. I highlighted the letters with a white gel pen.
For the sentiment, I stamped of one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink and
heat embossed with a White Detailed Embossing Powder onto a piece of black cardstock. I used one of
the dies from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics to diecut it out.
I took a piece of white cardstock (3.5” x 8.25”). I adhered the letters with liquid adhesive and the colored
images and sentiment strip with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. I adhered the panel to a
piece of red cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase (3.75” x 8.5”). I finished the card with a few
red gems from my stash to represent berries on the wreath.
Have a Beary Merry Christmas! My second card showcases the sweetest bear all decked out in his
reindeer sweater and antlers.
I stamped and colored the images in the same manner as the first card. I fussy cut out the images.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock with the scalloped die from the Blueprints 27
Die-namics. I masked of the bottom portion of the panel and lightly ink blended with Tumbled Glass and
Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks. I added some dots with a Copic marker (B02) and a white gel pen.
I stamped the two sentiments from the set directly onto the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I
adhered the colored images with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the panel to a piece of red cardstock
before adhering it to a white cardbase (4.25” x 5.5”).
