Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card featuring Gerda Steiner Design's stamp set named, Chicks and Bunnies.
Awhile back, I stamped out the images using a no-line coloring ink and colored them using alcohol markers. I always love the soft look of no-line coloring but sometimes I'm not sure what to do with them. From all the images, I decided I wanted to use the two bunnies from the set for this card.
I didn't want to create a scene card so I decided to use make use of patterned paper. I added the piece of yellow polka dot at the bottom to give the bunnies something to stand on. I wanted another color added to the mix so I added a light blue piece cardstock. It looked a little plain so I decided to heat emboss a simple pattern on it to add a little texture.
For the sentiment, I wanted to use the "hello" sentiment so I stamped it on the blue cardstock and then also stamped it on the patterned paper as well because I wanted to paper piece. I normally don't do much paper piecing but these letters were pretty easy to cut out and I like how cohesive it made the entire card panel.
The bottom of the card is pretty plain so I cut out a few strips of the blue cardstock and added it at the bottom and it finished off the card.
I hope you get inspired to create! Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
