Happy Birthday Bear Card by Jeannie!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Gerda Steiner Design’s stamp set named, Birthday Bear. I already created another card using this set in a scene card. I couldn't help but use this stamp set again! It's so adorable!

For this particular card, I decided to use the ever so popular slimline line card to create a three window scene. I used a slimline die to cut out my base from patterned paper. I wanted to use square dies to cut out three different sized windows to be the focal point for each of the three images from Birthday Bear. Against a black base of 3.5 by 8.5, it really lets the critters stand out.

After coloring all of the images using similar colors reflected in the patterned paper, I added them all over the slimline card and thought it was super fun.

To finish off the card, I used all the sentiments in this set. I stamped them on black cardstock and heat embossed them using white embossing powder. I felt like there was a of empty space and figured, why not?
