Hanh's GSD Bunnies in Easter Basket

Hello Crafty Friends!

Hanh here and I am so happy and excited to share an Easter boxcard that I made with a couple of absolutely adorable images from Gerda Steiner Designs.

The boxcard features the new digital stamp Bunnies in Easter Basket. Aren’t those bunnies peeking out of the basket just the cutest?

I paired them up with some more bunnies in the background from the digital stamp Easter Bunnies.

The Easter Bunnies images are actually free on the Gerda Steiner Designs website.
First, I printed out these digital images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted with gel pens. Then, I fussy cut the images out.

COPIC COLORS

Brown Bunnies: E50/51/53/33, R00/20
Gray Bunnies: W00/0/1/3/5, R00/20
Basket: E40/41/42/43
Pink: RV02/04/09
Yellow: Y11/13/08/19
Green: YG01/03/17
Blue: B000/00/01/04
Purple: V01/04/09

For the boxcard, I took a piece of heavyweight 110 lb White cardstock and trimmed them into a 4.25” x 4.25”, two strips 1.25” x 6”, and two strips 1.25” x 5.25”. I used a grassy die to trim one grassy edge onto each of the strips. I used a cloud stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a cloudy background onto the white square panel. Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink was used to ink up the grassy strips. Be sure to ink up all of the backside of the grassy strips also since it may be visible in the boxcard. For the 6” strip, I scored at the 0.5” and 4.75” mark. For the 5.25” strips, I scored both ends at 0.5”. The longer strips were folded and adhered with liquid adhesive to create the base of the boxcard. The shorter strips became the grassy shelves. I assembled the remainder of the boxcard with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I used a paper trimmer to cut out the sentiment from the Easter Bunnies digital stamp and adhered it to the front of the boxcard. Finally, I adhered all of the colored images onto the boxcard.

As always, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today.

I hope you liked my boxcard. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
