It's Yolanda here, from
Since I had in my hands the gingerbread man, from the "
" stamps set, I thought about the card I've finally made!
As you can see, I made the dish with two different sizes of circle die cuts. Then I used fine detail white embossing powder for the gingerbread men. I think they are so cute and you have the possibility of changing the faces since there are three different expressions in this set and it includes even a cute bow to transform them into a girl . Aren´t they adorable??
I used kraft cardstock and once I had embossed them, I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to make them more realistic. I added some red details and I placed them into the gold dish.
I used the sentiment of the same set, although you can also find it in the "
Deck the halls
" stamps set. In this occasion, I used Delicata Pigment Ink instead of gold embossing powder since I love how much it shines without giving so much volume to the sentiment. I added the cup of coffee from the "
" stamps set because I can't think about a cookie without a cup of hot chocolate or coffee :))
Finally, I added the detail of the napkin just to have fun... That´s the essence of carmaking, isn´t it??
Some days ago, I tried something I had been thinking for a long time: adding some kind of smell to my Chritmas cards. Today I have done it again. My gingerbread card smells to cinnamon. Just take your double side foam and press the borders gently into a little bit of cinnamon and your card will smell nicely! Put it into a plastic envelope in order to keep the smell for a longer time.
I hope you have enjoyed and... see you soon!!

I stamped three different dogs from the stamp set onto masking paper and fussy cut them. Using the masks I slightly sketched the trio of pups before stamping them onto a piece of marker friendly paper. I coloured everything with my Copics and created an...

Hello everyone, my name is Ildi from Hungary and I’m super excited and feel honored to be guest designing for Ger
da Steiner Designs this month.
I'm sharing my home and my life with three cats and three dogs and at tis beautiful time of the year I used to create many cards with them, partly because it's so much fun and partly because I can support animal rescue by donating papercraft goodies.
Let it snow
December 05, 2019
Hi, Margreet here.
I have made a wintercard with the lovely new digi '
Snowman and birds
' from Gerda Steiner Designs.
I started with embossing of the base card.
Then I printed the digi, colored it with copics and die cut with a square stiched die from Crealies.
I added some lovely, tiny trees (dies from Joy!crafts) and glued all on the base card.
For the final touch I adhered 'Let it snow' ribbon from...
