Happy Fall Card with Karla

Hello! It's Karla here today, and I am so excited to join you here on the Gerda Steiner blog for my first Digital Stamp Designer post!! I have loved Gerda's stamps forever, and I'm so honored to join her fabulous team For my first post I'm sharing a cute Autumn card using the Happy Fall Greeting Card Printable. This sweet digi is so quick and easy to create with - just print it out, colour and voila you've got a fast and fun card. Thanksgiving in Canada is actually tomorrow, and I am hosting dinner today, so this is going to go to my niece as a Thanksgiving card! I started by colouring the printable with Prismacolor and Hobby Colour Markers, which are both alcohol based, and then adding some white gel pen highlights. I just love the little scarf and jacket the sweet mouse is wearing! I used some pretty fall papers and diecuts to cut some of the layers, popping up the main image with foam tape for dimension.

I coloured the FALL bubble letters with an ombre effect, blending yellows and oranges and cut out the image with a stitched diecut, adding to the 'cozy' feeling! I used some Enamel Accents drops to create three faux enamel dots as embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the Happy Fall Greeting Card Printable in the Shop and take some time for yourself to relax and make something pretty!
Happy Crafting!
